Join us at Ovation as Northern Kentucky officially kicks off America’s River Roots Festival! This morning celebration will showcase the best of NKY’s River Roots experiences, debut Perfetti Van Melle’s Airheads Hot Air Balloon, and honor our nation’s 250th birthday.

 

We will celebrate the launch of the America’s River Roots Festival in Newport with a short program and patriotic birthday celebration for our country’s 250th birthday at 10:00 a.m. at the corner of Ovation Way and Illumination Way on the turfed area where the kiosk sits across from The Boardwalk Residences, Building 2.

Highlights include patriotic music, inspiring community remarks, a towering birthday cake, and the ceremonial signing of a giant birthday card. Guests will also enjoy front-row views as the first America’s River Roots public cruises set sail—followed by patriotic goodies to close out the celebration.
